
ABOUT THE TELL CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Tell City Police Department was established in 1858. The department’s jurisdiction encompasses over 4.635 square miles and serves a population of approximately 7,800 people. The police department is staffed with 16 full time police officers and several part time and reserve employees. The Tell City Police Department is home to a 24 hour central dispatch center which serves the entire county. TESTING PROCESS (TWO DATES)
Applicants may complete their entire testing process all in one day (Physical Assessment Exam and Written Examination). Testing dates are as follows.
